Adrian Gerber was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when he was 8 years old. Over the past three + years, he has battled his cancer and won twice, until it began to take a downward turn recently. Sgt. Jeremy James planned a beautiful surprise for him on Saturday, April 18, 2009. Adrian was picked up from his home and escorted aboard a firetruck to the Caro Airport in Caro Michigan for a helicopter ride.
After being contacted by Queen For A Day, all of the 2009 Michigan Galaxy queens showed up to cheer Adrian on and give their support.
